The Most Beautiful Sight

All thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the
peace of thy children.
Isaiah 54:13
It has only been the recent departure to college that has brought forth before my understanding the depth of internal shifting within Bethany. Remembering her final, angst-ridden days of high school, I was want to see the promise of the Lord accomplished in her:
I will take the stony heart out of [her] flesh, and will give [her] an heart of flesh . . .Ezekiel 11:19
The shifting actually began shortly after her graduation, yet I, the wind-blown and blistered mother was weary. I couldn't fully hear or receive the fullness of change for what it was. Gladness encompassed me, but I was not yet ready to traverse the depths of her spiritual being with her.
That is, until now. Every conversation lends itself to my amazement, as she meanders the Word with skill and dexterity; a hunger that rivals my own. Our conversations are now peppered with exciting finds and discoveries of spiritual truths . . .and my heart sings and rejoices over this day.
It is a good day indeed.
Seeing my daughter plume the heights and depths of God's wonderous love ~ it is the most beautiful sight I've ever seen.

sigh....that is encouraging....I am still in the "angst ridden days of high school" God has made me promises, but I look foreward to the day they are fulfilled...we are still waiting....LOL!

This post is so encouraging especially for mom's who are still in the trenches fighting the battle to win thier children hearts, minds, bodies and souls for the Lord.

Praise the Lord that you have been able to see Gods promise fulfilled.
