The sun was nowhere near rising when my eyes opened and my senses began taking in the early morning sounds of neighbors cajolling thier engines to life.
I was wide awake.
Slipping out of the warmth of my bed, I padded down the hallway to discover that I might as well stay up. It was close enough to daylight.
With coffee brewing, I took DellDog out for a morning relief and brought him back in to snuggle with me on the couch.
My Bible nearby, my heart already engaged, I lifted up my thoughts to the Majestic One.
Oh, what bliss, to commune with Him in the silence.
No one else.
Only He and I.
Pleasure.
