I was a verifiable groupie today, placing 37th in a line of 40+ folk attempting to get the new release of the iphone 4.
I've never done this before.
Not for a device.
It was an interesting experience, actually completing a several-day-quest to obtain one. (Well, three, since my men were able to exchange their new doodads for the latest version.)
It's been one of those days where absolutely *nothing* is going to go as planned, nor as hoped . . . but when all is said and done, all is well.
Including a very special note the Lord sent my way.
I'd prayed a very specific prayer yesterday morning ~ and tonight the Lord sent a messenger of good news to share with me a sliver of His handiwork! My heart trilled in upward motion song as I heard the glad tidings. I was then reminded of this mornings Bible verse:
The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. Psalm 138:8
He surely will perfect that thing that concerns me.
He is a good God; and while the day was wilder than most, He was yet on the throne ~ steady, constant, faithful.

Glad that you were encouraged of the Lord yesterday. Thanks for encouraging me as well! It always seems to be hard to remember that the Lord is always on time and never late. Miss you!
