BJ? Is That You??

As I prepared to closeout the day Sunday evening, my sense of hearing paused long enough to take in the most unusual sound: that of rainfall upon the rooftop ~ in Southern California.

Earlier in the day, I actually saw rain pouring off the eave of the porch.

What has the weather come to these days?

Did I bring the rain with me? The record rainfall we experienced in the month of December on the Mississippi Gulf Coast was enough to produce a hunger for sunny skies in me.

Alas.

Drip. Drip. Drip. Drop.

The forecast calls for 2-3 inches of rain each day this week.

Egads.
