We weren't so interested in taking on Gorn, but we were up for that hike!
Starting out, everyone was excited about tackling the earthen protuberance:
Israel took the lead, and soon found himself halfway up the major outcropping:
I had Keller in the Maya Wrap, and was not prepared for the intense slant that the mountainside presented. I only made it halfway up myself, before my sense of balance warned me not to go any further with Keller as part of my center of balance. So, I took a few 'ariel view' type pictures:
While Israel made it to the top quite quickly,
Aubrey took a slightly different route. She also hiked barefoot!
Israel tired of waiting for her, so he and the DellDog took a brisk jog down the mountain:
And then, scooted up to the precipice yet another way, successfully joining Aubrey for a panoramic view:
Meanwhile, I was attempting to find level ground . . .
to be continued . . .

Those pictures scare the daylights out of me. It looks like Israel could fall off. Oh, my... I really can't look at them. Was it just the camera angle?

I can.not.imagine hiking that with a baby in a Maya. You are a brave, brave woman.
I don't think I could have watched that, Angie!
