She finds herself touching her ring and allowing her senses to engulf the details of the diamond and it's setting.
Her mind drifts easily through their initial meeting, engagement and then the glorious wedding.
Her heart aches for the sound of his voice, the strength of his arms around her and the comfort of his "I love you, baby".
She looks at the ring and sighs deeply.
One day soon...they'll be together again.
But, for today, the ring is his promise. His promise that there is a soon on its way.
