Dilligence, Excellence, And A Bowl Of Beel Stew

If Studio Mom ever had cause to be proud, it would have been yesterday.

The boy had rehearsed, studied, and prepared on his own ~ and when we arrived at our destination, he tweaked his study even more alongside his Director.

Per ususal fare, Keller was snug in his sling, or on the floor, wherein I had created a makeshift playground. We watched.

Scene One. Rehearse. Tweak. Film.

CUT!

Film again.

Again.

And, again. To provide three clips from which to choose.

Scene Two. Rehearse. Tweak. Film.

Cut!

Film again.

Cut!

Weariness. Slip ups.

Thunder. Rain. Props.

Film.

Again. And again. And again. Until we had three clips from which to choose.

The boy had worked with excellence for FIVE hours. Nary a complaint. While I could see near the end he was weary, he was diligent to plow on until the last clip was filmed in its' entirety.

Five hours.

Pass that boy a bowl of my homemade beef stew.

The one that simmered all day in the crock pot? Yeah. That one.

He's earned it.
