The Curtain Pulled Back

Every once in awhile something amazing occurs,
and one feels as though
they are looking through a window
with the curtain pulled back.

The panoramic view
of greenery and goodness
overwhelmes the heart,
and for a moment
all the troubles of the day or week or month
are forgotten

In the face
of someone's love
expressed
with simplicity.

The sunshine sprayed my face
and made my eyes crinkle
