Pass It On

It only takes a spark to get a fire going . . .

The lyrics resound in my mind as I traverse distant memories of childhood camp, singing around the fire, roasting marshmallows.

How true the statement.

How much impact have I had?

What sparks have flown from my life and relationship with the Lord to ingnite another's life and relationship with Him so as to intensify their search for purpose and desire to become more, do more, experience more?

The answer is not far. No, it is as close as the next prayer I express.

Then another angel with a golden censer came and stood at the altar; and a great quantity of incense was given to him to mix with the prayers of God's people, to offer upon the golden altar before the throne. And the perfume of the incense mixed with the prayers ascended up to God from the altar where the angel had poured them out. Revelation 8:3-4 LB

Ah, that wonderful song, which reminds us that we are to be HIS vessels of light to this dark world! Just Sunday we were looking for a song that our small group could sing on Palm Sunday, and this one was mentioned. After celebrating "40 Days", it seems appropriate - but another song was chosen. That's okay - the other song is another one of celebration...also very appropriate as we remember and celebrate Palm Sunday -

Love your blog, Angi - it's awesome, just like you!

Love you,
Karen
